Where Can YOU Celebrate National Dessert Day in Lubbock?

Where Can YOU Celebrate National Dessert Day in Lubbock?

October 12, 2018

Celebrate National Dessert Day the Lubbock way with tasty, sweet treats from your local bakeries and restaurants. You’ll get a kick of sweetness from all that shug AND from knowing you’re supporting local. Check it out!

  1. There’s something for every dessert-lover at Simply Decadent Bakery. Cheesecake? Check. Bread pudding? Check. Chocolate cream pie? Check. That’s a list that you want to go on and on. And it does! Come by and taste one of your favorite desserts, or order a custom-designed cake to celebrate National Dessert Day, another special event, or your typical “I want a dessert ri-now” day.

  2. If you’re headed over to 50th Street Caboose for a tasty meal with a side of fun games + entertainment, don’t forget dessert! Their pretzel turtle brownie and hot apple pie are absolutely delish. 50th Street Caboose has a brand new item on the dessert menu + this one? It takes the cake: vanilla ice cream topped with a signature butter brandy sauce and candied pecans. Yum yum!

  3. Need a sugar pick-me-up right around lunch time and don’t know where to tart? The Tea Room by Heart & Soul Cuisine is the place to go. After you try one of their brilliant lunch items, pick out one of their fresh daily desserts. The dessert items vary, but you can always count on something scrumptious whether it’s a slice of warm pie or a deliciously flavorful cake.

  4. Have you heard about the tasty peach cobbler (with ice cream of course) at Cooks Garage? We have a feeling it’ll satisfy your sweet tooth on National Dessert Day and BEYOND! Finish off that steak dinner, pulled pork sandwich, or yum-to-your-tum tacos + the peach cobbler, and you won’t be disappointed!

  5. This week, for National Dessert Day stay out of truffle! You’d batter be good + go by Sweet Creations. Talented and passionate baker Marsha Johnson bakes fabulous cakes, cupcakes, and other sugary treats that you absolutely MUST try. Stop by in the morning for her famous glazed donut breakfast sandwich, or come by anytime for custom or ready-made cakes.
